My name is Simone and I live in Margate, Kent with my wonderful husband and three beautiful children. As well as being a doula, I am also a qualified teacher and a clinical hypnotherapist. I am a member of the Bahรก'i community and enjoy singing with a local choir. I am fascinated by how the mind can be utilised as a powerful tool for transformation and how it can benefit pregnant women in preparation for birth, helping them to develop a positive mindset and feel strong and in control throughout the whole process (see helpful links on the services page for more information).
I trained as a doula with Nurturing Birth, led by highly experienced and knowledgable doula mentors. Although I had worked as a doula prior to this, the training provided me with new insights into the importance of mothers making informed decisions about their birth, how powerful the role of a doula can be and how to best serve the needs of a mother through their journey of pregnancy and birth. Being a doula is a true privilege and I feel so blessed to be able to do what I love most.
